Three types of email notifications are available:
Address notifications, when we upload amended or new address information.
Corporate notifications, when we upload new title documents (i.e. amalgamations, name changes, etc.).
Recent Development notifications, to notify users of pending transaction, receiverships, asset sales, etc.
We typically send out 2 address notifications per week, 2 corporate notifications per week, and a daily recent developments notification.

Your time will not begin to run until you enter your password and start an EnerLink session.

Elapsed time from first EnerLink use is what counts, not time actually working in EnerLink. For example, if you select 2 hours and start using EnerLink at 3:17 pm, your right to use EnerLink will expire at 5:17 pm.

Pay As You Go
Pay As You Go is designed for those who anticipate modest use of EnerLink, typically in a single user environment. It is also an easy way to evaluate EnerLink before becoming an annual subscriber.
The first step is to register, a 2 minute process. Enter your email address on Sign In screen and click the red word "here". Then follow the simple instructions indicated in red at the bottom of the screen.
Once registered, the next step is to purchase credits from the bottom of the Sign In screen. We use a secure third party credit card service for this. With your first purchase you will receive double credits.
Before using EnerLink, please click the green question mark button on the Sign In screen to open our EnerLink Quick Guide. Spending 10 minutes reading the guide will probably help you avoid wasting credits.
The first part of the guide explains how to navigate around in EnerLink. The second part contains screenshots of the main EnerLink screens and reports.
Pay As You Go includes all EnerLink features except exports, data extracts, Alberta Crown Mineral Reports, email notifications (address and corporate changes and recent developments), and the BA (Business Associates) Analyzer.
Considering upgrading to an annual subscription? The first $200 CAN ($160 US) paid towards Pay As You Go credits will be applied against the subscription fee.
As you navigate in EnerLink you can track the use of your credits. Credits are charged as set out below:
15 - viewing (and optionally printing) a PDF title document
5 - populating or repopulating an EnerLink screen, via search, link, stereo button, preview pane, refresh, recent searches, etc.
5 - viewing the Recent Changes screen, the Recent Developments screen, the Production screen or the Industry screen
5 - viewing (and optionally printing ) a report
5 - each data refresh on a map screen
1 - using a sort button or clicking on a website hyperlink
Avoid clicking on a black preview pane (right side of EnerLink). You will be taken to the applicable screen and charged 5 credits, only to find the screen empty. It is better to use the applicable screen change button (left side of EnerLink) at no charge.
